Sinister Dreams

When will the cloud in my head clear?
Stuck in the middle of a messy riddle.
Tongue twisters told me not to toy with my mind.
I have already wasted a thousand years and said “sorry” a million times.
Chasing you became a constant dream,
Waking up to find myself alone again.
Teary mattress covers over me.
Feels like Water board, feels like you’re torturing me.

Waiting foolishly in the wind because this is meant to be.
Waiting childishly in the rain because you are what I need.
What day is today? I’ve lost count in my misery.
Tick tock, the clock replaces the rhythm my heart once beat.

Stronger   She stared blankly down at the razor sharp knife in front of her, it was a throwing knife typically used for target practice, a nice one too.

   "God dammit!" she whispered in a voice that threatened to give out. She couldn't blame her father for giving it to her, it's not like he knew. He didn't know anything.

   "You're better than this…" she tried to convince herself "you're stronger than it..."

   And most of the time she was, but she had the scars to prove just how weak she could be as well.

RainFADE IN

EXT. CLOUDY- DAY

The weather is very grey and cloudy. It is slightly drizzling.

We see a BOY about nineteen years old walking forward. He is wearing a small khaki colored jacket with his hands in his pockets and the hood up. He is looking down, hiding his face from the rain.

He looks upset. His eyes are puffy like he's been crying.

The camera backs out and we see he is walking on a bridge.

It's the BROOKLYN BRIDGE to be exact. There are very few people due to the rain. The boy passes a young couple sharing an umbrella, then a girl jogging.

Finally the boy stops at one of the medal railings. He takes off his hood. He rests his hRain by ~FerociousFruit

WaitingShe turns her tear stained face away from me. Its them again I know. The pain claws at her heart every day and it breaks my heart to see her struggle with her demons every day. Her fiery temper and her struggle to be calm. I knew her well; so well that I could even decipher what she was thinking looking at the back of her head. It’s almost like her torrential emotions radiated into me. I could feel her on the brink of her sanity and her frustration and anger swirled around like some malignant whirlpool. She tries to be calm. She tries
to be so calm. She tries so hard to be calm but the world mocks her, threatens her, gives her false hope and wrenches it from beneath her feet. She tries to be cheerful but everyone pulls her down, down into their darkness. Somehow the very people who are supposed to be the closest to her ended up hurting her the most. I want to reach out to her and wrap her in my arms but now is not the time She won’t accepWaiting by ~gin-hoshi

StayShe sat on the window sill contemplating. Just contemplating. Should she jump? Or should she just go on. She was sitting on a boundary line. Death on one side and pain on the other. She swung her leg down just to see...just to see how it felt. She shuddered. Was she ready for this? Her mind was like a storm of broken mirrors. Each piece reflecting a small shard of her life. Some happy memory flitted by and along came some deeply felt grief. She put her hands in her hair, tearing at them wildly. Should she stay or should she go? Tears streamed down her face. Glistening diamond like in the sun. Music streamed in towards the window. Beautiful, slow and extremely comforting. It was Marko again and he always made her stay. Always. Stay by ~gin-hoshi

who walk for hours to reach school
The shacks in the valley;
flood the muddy roads and

#Arts-With-A-Message is a group for passionate artists (any media form) that love to create art with a message. This is basically a place where people will be able view others work while being able to share their own, one with great meaning and purpose.

I want to advocate a large collection of art that is beautiful, moving, conceptual, thought-provoking, and emotional. I think Awareness of such sensitive and controversial issues is key. This is simply because I believe that sometimes an ART WORK can speak louder than a thousand words and get that message across a lot quicker to make a difference.
